Weighing in on Weeks 20-21

After several weeks of minimal weight loss and a slight gain, I was down 1.4 lbs for week 20 and down 0.2 lbs for week 21. This makes my total weight loss 26.6 lbs. So at least after week 19’s gain, I’m going in the right direction again – down!

Breakfasts:
  • Oatmeal – 2 SP
  • Banana – 0 SP
Lunches:

This recipe makes 24 burritos, so be sure you have plenty of room in your freezer. I made these in January and still have quite a few left.

I make these with fat-free refried beans, Kraft Fat-Free Cheese, Taco Bell Taco Sauce, and Ole Xtreme Wellness tortillas.

Bean Burritos
Dinners:
  • **Monday – Leftover Copycat Taco Bell Beefy 5-Layer Burritos – 6 SP
  • Tuesday – Soup and a grilled cheese sandwich – 6 SP
  • ***Wednesday – Mini Honey BBQ Meatloaves – 3 SP
  • Thursday – Soup and a grilled cheese sandwich – 6 SP
  • Friday – Leftover Mini Honey BBQ Meatloaves – 3 SP
  • ***Saturday – Slow-Cooked BBQ Smoked Sausage and Beans – 7 SP
  • Sunday – Leftover Slow-Cooked BBQ Smoked Sausage and Beans – 7 SP

  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs (or Hearts) – 8 SP (Yes, I’m splurging again. My favorite candy. I love these things!)

  • Lays Poppables (snack size bag) – 2 SP
Workouts:

As I write this, I am sick and am trying to prevent going into major coughing fits. So I will likely not go to Zumba for most of this week. I’m hoping by Saturday to be ready to go back again. Next week I plan on returning to my normal schedule.

My Zumba instructor is beginning a new Zumba toning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I plan on giving it a try to see if I like it. My Wednesday and Saturday classes will be the same as usual.

Tool of the Week

I need to take small weights to the Zumba toning class, so my tool of the week is hand weights. I have the regular dumbbell style (3 lbs) like these, but these weights looks like they would be much easier to use with my arthritic hands.
