Weighing in on Week 18

I have a confession to make – Last week, I really struggled with my diet and ate some foods that I shouldn’t have. But here’s the thing, I would have eaten more calories trying to satisfy my cravings instead of just going on and eating the foods I was wanting. With that being said, I still lost 0.2 lbs, which was a win for me considering the foods I ate. This brings my total weight loss to 25.4 lbs.

*The recipe for the Freezer Friendly Breakfast Burrito recipe is an adaptation of Crystal Paine’s recipe from www.moneysavingmom.com. The recipe can be found here. I used Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles instead of ham and Ole Xtreme Wellness Tortillas. I also used the Kraft Fat Free Cheddar Cheese. I’m sure there are many adjustments you can make to suit your tastes and diet.

Zumba Tuesday – Thursday and Saturday mornings. I love my Zumba workouts!

It’s important to remember that when you’ve had a bad week of dieting, don’t let yourself get discouraged. You’re going to crave foods that are not the best for you – we all do. My advice is to eat what you’re craving, but watch your portion sizes. A serving size of what you crave will be far better in the long run than eating many different foods in an effort to try and satisfy that craving.

Tools of the Week

Making squash noodles was a breeze with our spiralizer and steamer. I steamed the squash noodles in my fish & vegetable steamer which made the perfect noodles.
